ROWING has been enjoyed at Sebago by some devoted enthusiasts for many years. The relatively calm waters of the basin and Jamaica Bay provide a wonderful, interesting environment for the recreational rower to enjoy the sport. Although no formal instruction program currently exists for rowing, there are members who will happily share their knowledge with new rowers.This year we are creating a list of active rowers at Sebago so we can encourage the exchange of information and support. The club owns three single sculls and these are available for members who have shown the ability to safely use them. Contact the Rowing Chair for more information.
